• Farmers receive two female goats, which serve as the foundation for expanding their herds. Over the 24-month period, farmers have the potential to grow their herds from 2 to 14 goats.
• The goat bank anticipates the recovery of 6 kids during this period, allowing farmers to retain the additional goats for their own use.

2. Financial Empowerment:

• Through this initiative, farmers can earn between 70,000 and 100,000 INR over two years. This income can significantly improve their financial stability and contribute to their household needs.

3. Comprehensive Support:

• To ensure the health and productivity of the livestock, Project Samarth provides a range of value-added services, including:
• Goat Insurance: Protects farmers against unforeseen losses, providing a safety net for their investments.
• Vaccination and Medical Care: Access to veterinary services ensures that goats remain healthy and productive, reducing mortality rates and enhancing overall herd performance.

4. Skill Development:

• In addition to providing livestock, the program includes training on best practices in goat farming. This education empowers farmers with the knowledge necessary to manage their herds effectively and sustainably.
